It's safe to assume movie soundtrack composer John Williams doesn't need any additional accolades, but his Star Wars soundtrack just topped another online "best movie soundtracks poll."

Williams has Oscars piled on top of other awards. He's even been immortalized by the Happy Wanderers on SCTV. And he better get used to the idea that his "New Hope" soundtrack is roundly recognized among the best film music ever recorded.

Most recently, fans at Total Sci-Fi Online ranked Williams' work at number one in genre movies -- with James Horner's inspired Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan beaming in at number two. A couple years ago, the American Film Institute also named 1977's[Star Wars](http://www.afi.com/tvevents/100years/scores.aspx)as the most unforgettable soundtrack of them all.

Of course, all this talk of *Star Wars *music dovetails nicely with the news that the upcoming Star Wars in Concert tour will kick off in Orange County next week.

A coincidence? Ben Kenobi would say there's no such thing.
