Rock Band *will soon be rockin' mobile phones, but iPhone and iPod users will have to wait.
The mobile phone version of the band game launches September 16 for the Verizon network, EA Mobile announced via its Facebook page Wednesday.
*Rock Band Mobile *will feature 25 songs in "high-quality" MP3 sound, and players are able to play lead guitar, drums, bass and vocals. The game will also have Quickplay and Tour modes, and it supports multiplayer as well as leaderboards.
No details yet on an iPhone version. We wonder if you're able to download new tracks, as in Rock Band Unplugged for the PSP, so you can buy the same songs on three different platforms.
