Trey Parker and Matt Stone's clumsily assembled construction-paper pilot that launched the South Park juggernaut premiered Thursday at the duo's joint site with Comedy Central. The sweetener? Four minutes of additionally crude footage.

That riotous pilot served as the basis for the immortal episode "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe," which scored not just an Emmy but also a Peabody after airing in 1997. It was animated by Parker and Stone while fried on too much coffee and too little sleep, but it paid off huge: The controversial but decorated animated program is now in its lucky 13th season.

Fans on the hunt for information on forthcoming South Park episodes can also check out commentary from crew producer Eric Stough and South Park Studios creative director Chris Brion on the show's October 7 mid-season premiere. The pilot airs for 30 days only, and is ad-supported. Respect its au-thor-i-ty!
