Welcome to the weekend. Another grueling work week, another fantastic week of posts and creative comments here at GeekDad. If you missed anything, now is the time to get all caught up before heading out to the comic book store. Welcome, to another link filled edition of the GeekDad week in review.

Post of the Week

Every space loving geek in the world is wondering when we're going to send humans back out into space to touch down on the moon or beyond. So is President Obama. He put together a panel and gave them 90 days to make a decision. So they started holding public meetings. GeekDad Lonnie Morgan was fortunate enough to go to one of those meetings. What do you think should be the next step for human spaceflight? Check out our post of the week and vote.

Saturday & Sunday

Looking to break into RPG writing? Better check out the Kobold guide. Corrina Lawson heads to Lake Compounce to ride the wooden roller coasters and have you built your mystery box yet?

Monday

Really, how groovy is Groovy Music City? Pretty groovy I'm guessing. Is it as groovy as Maker Faire coming to Rhode Island? Only if you live in the northeast. What about some Star Wars Hasbro Mighty Mugg figures, are those groovy? I know what is, the Mac Tablet. It might not exist yet, but we all can't wait to play Starfleet Officer. Finally, how about our favorite sci-fi ships as model rockets? That is groovy.

Tuesday

Natania Barron writes a love letter to Torin's Passage and the Wrockstock Fesitval dates have been announced. Ever wonder how Jedi Masters eat noodles? Or how about when we're going back to the moon? Or were you just wondering who would win in a cage match, iPhone or Blackberry? By the way, did you get your meteor shower?

Wednesday

The soundtrack for geeky living, GeekDad HipTrax #34. Were you there? We were. NI Week 2009. Corrina Lawson wonders what your kids can do better than you, Eric Poses stops by to answer some loaded questions, a designer uses LEGO bricks to create custom bikes and more LEGO, with Spinal Tap and LEGO D.I.Y. business cards. Last, we take a look back at all those bad dads.

Thursday

Like video game music? Then maybe you should pre-register for MAGFest. I tried switching it up to celebrate left-hander's day, but that didn't end well. Here's an exclusive first look at the Pathfinder RPG. The new Wii game Science Papa gets a close look and more LEGO! New Bionicles! My personal runner-up for post of the week was Dave Giancaspro's post on five hacks you can explore with your kids. A great post on that happy gray area between illegal and legal fun. Lately, Wired.com has been tossing things into a black hole, so we offered up 10 sci-fi movies that we'd like to never hear from again.

Friday

What did you make on your Summer MAKEcation? Hey, kids comics go BOOM! Cool. Matt Blum was a guest writer on the Entertainment Earth blog, did you catch it? Speaking about catching, did you catch Madden 10? I know I did. While you're reading this, I'm probably 10 games in. You are now entering the Twilight Zone, check your disbelief at the door with these new graphic novels.

And that's it for another great week at GeekDad! Stay tuned next week for more!
