Gazprom, Russia's state-within-a-state, recently gave us a whole new appreciation for schlocky corporate videos. Sure, it didn't quite qualify for our collection of awesomely bad videos of the military-industrial complex. But we thought the anthem "Let's Drink to the Russian Gas" deserved a special recognition for such a brazen crime against music.

Danger Room pal Peter Piatetsky has kindly added to our little collection of Russian petroleum-industry jingles: The wonderfully horrible anthem of oil firm Lukoil.

Piatetsky was kind enough furnish a translation of the lyrics up to 1:20:

Let’s have a smoke, my oil worker friend
Shoot the sh*t about this and that
About how we’re tugged at by home
And how far away home is…
About how sometimes you just want to forget
That there’s oil in the world
For with it, life goes down a pipe
And of course, with life, there’s no second chance

But everything will be just fine for us
As long as we remember that
Oil doesn’t have a woman’s demeanor
Oil has the demeanor of man
Oil doesn’t have a woman’s demeanor
Oil has the demeanor of man

Execrable. To be honest, I couldn't take it past the first refrain.
