Report: New Futurama Episodes Coming to Comedy Central

Comedy Central has ordered up 13 new episodes of Futurama, according to an anonymous "inside source" quoted by Collider.com.

According to the website: "Though still technically a rumor at this point, word is that Futurama production offices have already opened and that casting is about to move forward."

Created by The Simpsons' Matt Groening, the animated sci-fi show ran on Fox from 1999 to 2003 and was resurrected in 2007 as a series of four straight-to-DVD films (Bender's Big Score, The Beast With a Billion Backs, Bender's Game and Into the Wild Green Yonder).
