Over the last 28 years, Mario has built an illustrious resume.
He's rescued princesses, cured infectious diseases, and amassed a fortune in gold coins. We've seen him in sports games, brawlers -- even a first person shooter (sort of).
And at E3 this year, Nintendo revealed their longtime mascot's latest outings: a return to his 2-D platformer roots and a second go-round of Super Mario Galaxy.
Unabashed Mario fans have likely already dusted off their Wiis in anticipation. But outside of the Mushroom Kingdom Appreciation Club, things aren't so rosy. Over at GeekDad, user daren_grey has had his fill of our mustachioed-friend:
Have you had all of the Mario you can take? Does the thought of another adventure with the portly plumber and his silly overalls make you queasy?
Or do you long for the good old days, with its animated shows and themed bedsheets?
