Following the unending success of the Xbox Live Arcade version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Arcade Game, Konami and current Turtles rightsholder Ubisoft are bringing the sequel to Microsoft's online platform, according to TMNT blog Ninja Pizza.
Turtles in Time, originally released in 1991 and ported to the Super Nintendo in 1992 (box art pictured at right), is very similar to its predecessor, only with the addition of a time-traveling storyline and slightly upgraded visuals and gameplay.
Revealed by a TMNT fan who attended the recent "Galabunga" conference in New York City, the remake is said to include the original arcade title with upgraded high-definition graphics and a few minor changes introduced in its SNES version.
The fan also reveals that Konami and Ubisoft are also working to bring the game to Nintendo's Wii.
