Tomorrow, April 8, will see the release of an update for PlayStation Network downloadable racing title Wipeout HD that adds a number of new options to the title.
Key to the additions are new online features that offer fans a more enjoyable multiplayer experience, including an online leaderboard and a spectator mode that offers players a chance to watch races currently in progress from around the world.
Additionally, on completing any online race, players are now awarded badges based on how they performed. As opposed to the standard gold, silver and bronze badges for placing in the top three finishers, these 33 badges award players for accomplishing certain feats during the race.
While Sony is mum on what each badge requires, expect Wipeout fans to have compiled comprehensive lists hours after the update goes live.
