We've heard rumors, we've heard the developers say it was coming, but now that Criterion has released an in-game teaser trailer for Burnout Paradise's much-anticipated "Cops And Robbers" (aka "Pursuit") mode, we can finally confirm that it is in the works.

Unfortunately, the teaser does little else. The mode, which will presumably appear as yet another downloadable content add-on for the beloved racing game, includes "cops" chasing "robbers," no doubt, but beyond that we know almost nothing.

Criterion has yet to say when this DLC might appear (aside from a nebulous "coming soon"), whether it would be free or have a price point associated with it, what sort of vehicles it might add and what gameplay modes it would include.

Still, long-time Burnout fans who enjoyed the mode in early versions of the series – back when it was known as "Pursuit" mode – should be excited for this latest addition.
