Crushing any dreams you may have had for future productivity, PopCap Games has crafted a World of Warcraft add-on that brings its intensely addictive puzzler Peggle to the virtual landscape of Azeroth.
No strangers to Blizzard's MMO, this addition follows the unsurprisingly wildly successful marriage of World of Warcraft and intensely addictive puzzler Bejeweled. Like that add-on, this iteration of Peggle requires a small download from players who are then able to play the game during their in-*WoW *downtime.
Also like Bejeweled, World of Warcraft's Peggle is free of charge.
Consider this something akin to the stereotypical drug dealer approach of offering the first hit for free in the hopes that gamers will find themselves hopelessly ensnared. Given the massive success PopCap has seen over the last few years, I'd say the business plan has proven effective.
