Game companies have pulled some crazy launch stunts, but this? Nintendo showed up at my door today with a custom-made DSi cake.
Created by Half Moon Bay's Elegant Cheesecakes, the DSi box layer is a white chocolate butter cake with chocolate ganache, the bottom cake is chocolate decadence and white chocolate butter cake with caramel toffee butter cream, and the DSi on top is made entirely out of dark chocolate. Oh, and somehow they put my picture on the top screen with a Toad hat.
It's heavy. And probably delicious. I did, SD Card Menu be damned, have to clean out my fridge to put it in there.
Oh, and they also dropped off our American DSi console. Unboxing pics of that to follow. For now, more cake pics are below.
