Animated Short Reveals New York's Lost Tribes

A pair of New York-based filmmakers have offered up an intimate look at some of the city’s lesser-known and most neglected residents.

The stop-motion animation short, The Lost Tribes of New York City, features interviews from the streets of The Big Apple with the streets of the Big Apple. Taking inspiration from Aardman Animation’s Creature Comforts, Lost Tribes animates everyday objects with the voices of various New Yorkers.

The movie is the work of experimental filmmakers Andy and Carolyn London of Londonsquared Productions. Check out their site for more information on the pair and their awards.
