Last night saw the final moments of troubled sci-fi MMO Tabula Rasa, and instead of going out with a whimper, the team behind the game set up an epic battle for the game’s devoted players.
In return, those same devoted players filmed the whole thing for posterity, added a soft-wipe-laden montage of developer photos to the end and covered the whole thing in a sentimental layer of Queen’s "We Are The Champions."
The video, while lacking any sort of apocalyptic world rending, is crucial content purely for its rarity. It’s not terribly often that we witness the end of a virtual world — and who doesn’t like Queen?
