It took less than three days for a dedicated fan to recut last Friday's new Star Trek movie trailer and edit in the cast of the original series.
While some bits of the original trailer are missing in this original series version (embedded above), the mashup offers an interesting look into what some fans will be doing when J.J. Abrams' film arrives May 8 – trying to imagine the characters of 40 years ago somewhere in the baby faces of the new cast.
