After waiting out a low-ball offer from Marvel, Mickey Rourke finally got his price and signed on to play a villain in Iron Man II.
According to Deadline Hollywood, Rourke (right, from* Sin City*) will play a Russian baddie -- possibly a version of Iron Man's classic foe, The Crimson Dynamo. It'll be interesting to see where this leaves The Mandarin in Iron Man II's plot.
Jon Favreau's *Iron Man *sequel is now in preproduction, and the first photo of set construction arrived Tuesday by way of the director's Twitter feed.
