The passing of Keith "Doc" Herber on 13 March is tragic news for RPG gaming fans everywhere.
If you haven't heard of Keith, you will have heard of the RPG Call of Cthulhu for which he was a prolific contributor. With over 20 publishing credits in Chaosism's RPG Call of Cthulhu, Keith helped establish the Lovecraft World of Arkham and surrounds for horror gamers perhaps better than anyone.
He leaves his latest venture Miskatonic River Press, unexpectedly. But, in a short time, even this little publishing house had produced some highly regarded scenarios and RPG materials. In his honor, you may wish to visit and make a purchase.
The folks over at You-Sothoth.com appear to be finding appropriate ways to commemorate this fine author, editor and musician.
It happens in Geekdom, that many individuals contribute great portions of their creative time and energy to their obsessions and niche loves without receiving wide recognition or great financial gain. "Doc" Herber's contribution has been extraordinary and GeekDad and our readers send our condolences to his family and loved ones.
