Sony's PlayStation.Blog once again has details on the upcoming PixelJunk Eden Encore direct from creator Q-Games head Dylan Cuthbert, offering a price point for the title and details on what exactly the downloadable game contains.

Though a solid release date has yet to be established for the title, Cuthbert says the game will set you back $6 once it reaches the PlayStation Network Store.

But what does Eden Encore offer fans of the PixelJunk series? Cuthbert explains:

We have added five whole new stages, each one choc-a-bloc full of ideas and gimmicks. We also designed five brand new backgrounds for them
(each background for a garden is programmed uniquely just for that garden’s style - just in case you hadn’t noticed that in the original), and Baiyon went away and created five brilliant new tracks of music to match it all up.

Cuthbert also says Encore adds a zero-G item that "lets you float and control your Grimp with no fear of falling" and that collecting each of the game's 25 new spectra will allow players to "play the entire game again in a completely different way."
