Star Trek Online
- developer Cryptic Studios has unveiled its latest batch of screenshots from the increasingly impressive MMO.
As per usual we've got some very picturesque, detailed images of spaceships floating in the inky void of space, a glimpse of a well-lit interior doorway, and -- most importantly -- a look at the iconic Klingon race.
I'm no Trekkie, but based on the episodes I have caught here and there during the last two decades, everything in these screenshots looks pretty spot on, at least as far as current technology will allow.
I'm sure the writers will skip some crucial bit of minutiae in describing the physics of dilythium crystals, but until that ensuing firestorm of nerd rage hits the 'net, I'm thinking these screens will keep fans eagerly anticipating the game.
Trekkies? What say you?
