Doctor Who is attracting new monsters like flies in this Spring's new special, "Planet of the Dead."
The BBC released new images from the upcoming Who episode, including the first up-close look at the show's deadly beasts, the Tritovores. Their simple jumpsuit costumes harken back to the cheaper Who monsters of old, while its fly head and arms are worthy of the new show's upgraded effects.
Cursed by production problems, "Planet of the Dead," cracks the BBC line-up this coming Easter Sunday. It's the first of four episodes airing in 2009 that will mark the end of David Tennant's reign as The Doctor.
