Despite offering Japanese PlayStation 3 owners downloadable re-releases of its best PlayStation-era games, Capcom has been rather stingy to us Americans. A forum post by Capcom exec
Christian Svensson however, indicates that that's all about to change.
"The first PS1 titles for PSN were submitted last week... when I have some dates for them, we'll let you know what and when is going to happen," Svensson wrote on the company's official Capcom Unity forums.
No specifics were offered on what games the company has submitted for release, but personally I'm pulling for a swath of Resident Evil games.
I would have voted for Street Fighter Alpha 2 and 3, but after sitting through the insane number of loading screens in the PSN release of Street Fighter Alpha, I'd prefer Capcom to either give us direct ports of the arcade games or just not bother re-releasing their fighters.
How about you guys? What game from the PlayStation-era Capcom catalogue do you want to see on the PlayStation 3's downloadable service?
