Epic Games has crafted a soon-to-be-released expansion for the PC and PlayStation 3 versions of Unreal Tournament III that adds a number of useful additions to the shooter -- most notably the inclusion of an item that allows players to metamorphose into gigantic monsters.
Appropriate dubbed "Titans" and "Behemoths," the two varieties see characters doubling and quadrupling in size, respectively. Once enlarged, players are free to stomp around the battlefield, causing havoc and generally smashing up the place.
Also included in the free expansion are 16 new battlefields, two new weapons, a new vehicle, A.I. and networking enhancements, and a new split-screen multiplayer mode for the PlayStation 3 version.
The Unreal Tournament III: Titan Pack is scheduled for release on the PC and PlayStation Network Store, free of charge, on March 5.
