Update: Gametrailers just added a clip of the game in action that you can now find below the page break.
A new game based on the 1979 film The Warriors is coming to the Xbox Live Arcade this summer, reports MTV’s Multiplayer Blog.
Alongside a new comic book series, the game — which appears to be a standard brawler based on MTV’s cache of screenshots — is being released to commemorate the film’s 30th anniversary. As such, it will feature appearances by the film’s eponymous gang as well as their colorful rivals.
It should also be mentioned that at some point during the game, someone will almost certainly utter the line: "Warriors, come out to play-ay."
As MTV points out, it’s crucial to note that aside from the subject matter, this game has no connection to Rockstar’s 2005 title of the same name.
