There's no point denying it: The latest line of Doctor Who action figures coming from the U.K.'s Character Toys is manufactured for people who are probably too old to play with action figures.
Following the company's successful first run of classic Who figures released last year, Character's second series hearkens back to the mid-1960s origin of the show, featuring the first two Doctors (William Hartnell, right, and Patrick Troughton), Daleks and vintage Cybermen.
In keeping with the look of Doctor Who's first six seasons, the First and Second Doctor figures are available in black-and-white hues. The technique is either a cool modern gimmick for painting action figures or an easy way to double inventory off the same plastic molds.
