J.J. Abrams' Star Trek movie will be merchandised and sold to death with endless product tie-ins. And, we all know what the first tie-in will be -- the most obvious product everyone is certain to link to all things Trek -- online auto insurance.

In a move precisely no one predicted, insurance provider Esurance posted the first online behind-the-scenes look at the new Star Trek, complete with an Abrams interview. There's no word if the site will also feature footage from one of the cast's play dates at Chuck E. Cheese.

The same site offers a sweepstakes to win a trip for two all the way to Hollywood for the Trek premiere. All the aspiring fan needs to do is upload a video explaining why he or she is the biggest Trekkie. This sweepstakes judges might need extra insurance just to get through the entries.
