Buying virtual loot with real cash is a hotly-debated issue among MMO fans, but who can fault Sony Online Entertainment for selling virtual goods to help charity?
Beginning January 20, Sony has pledged to donate $10 to Child's Play every time an Everquest or Everquest II player purchases a specific virtual item on Sony Online Entertainment's recently introduced Station Marketplace.
Kindly Everquest fans wishing to help the cause should head over to SOE's Station and purchase the "Child’s Play Guktan Shield Ornamentation." Similarly, Everquest II players can buy the "Child’s Play Bouncing Baby Bear Cub" (pictured at right).
