Skate 2
- officially hits consoles this month, and to prime prospective virtual skaters Electronic Arts has just revealed the dates on which Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gamers can get their hands on free demos of the title.
Xbox 360 fans will be able to download the trial from Microsoft's Xbox Live Marketplace on January 8, while the PlayStation Network will receive its version on January 15.
Included in the demo is "a first glimpse of the deep single-player story and exciting challenges in all-new locations," as well as "two of the game’s online Party Play modes: Thrasher’s Hall of Meat and Spot Battle."
The full version of Skate 2 hits stores in North America on January 21. The rest of the world will receive its copies on January 23.
