If British science fiction giants like Doctor Who, Blake's 7 and The Prisoner can all make successful TV comebacks, why not a U.K. sci-fi comedy like Red Dwarf?
Dave, the Brit digital channel, is currently producing a two-part Easter weekend special that will bring the original cast back to Earth.
The original Red Dwarf ran on BBC2 for eight seasons. According to the Beeb's stats, Red Dwarf was broadcast in more than 25 countries and has sold more than 7 million DVDs and videos to date.
