Paramount and CBS are going all-in with J.J. Abrams' Star Trek this summer, and the merchandising frenzy is set to arrive before the film's summer premiere.
According to TrekToday.com, plans are beaming in to get the following into stores in the next few months:
• Star Trek Monopoly, Uno, Scrabble, Magic 8 Ball, Phase 10 and All About Trivia
• Cookie jars, salt-and-pepper sets and mugs
• Clocks, magnets and lights
• Bobbleheads and vinyl figures
• Pajamas
• Children's footwear, bags and accessories.
• Jewelry and cuff links
• Leather jackets and laptop bags
A special salute goes to GenkiWear for its new line of signature fragrances, "Tiberius," "Pon Farr" and "Red Shirt." The scents will finally give you your chance to smell like a Shatner.
