To celebrate the event, BBC7 radio is presenting multiple audio productions based on his most famous tales.

While America celebrates Poe and his work, BBC7 will be presenting dramatic productions based on The Fall of The House of Usher, The Gold Bug and The Tell-Tale Heart.

The most interesting Poe production might be The Strange Case of Edgar Allan Poe, in which the author's own detective Creation (C. Auguste Dupin) investigates the real-life mysterious death of his creator.
