While Russell T. Davies is busy rewriting the Doctor Who Easter special to make room for a shattered double-decker bus (pictured right), the identity of the show's new alien villains flew in Friday from Dubai.
As the photo brought to us from the diligent folks at Outpost Gallifrey shows, when the BBC's least-favorite freight contractor damages prop public transport, they don't screw around. In fact, the vehicle's remains look to be one good rattle away from becoming a single-decker bus. The Beeb and Davies aren't saying how he'll make room for the wreck in "Planet of the Dead," but they did reveal the name of the show's new monster.
Called the Tritovores, the new baddies are described as flylike and disgusting. Those same terms could be used to describe most politicians, so further research reveals the existence of real-life, Earthly creatures -- Detritivores (any organism that eats detritus). What's detritus? According to Merriam-Webster, it's inanimate organic matter -- such as fragments of dead bodies or (sorry) feces.
So, we're making it official. This Easter, The Doctor battles the Poop-Eaters. Enjoy.
