More Pentagon Bigs Sticking Around

Bob Gates isn't the only top Pentagon official sticking around for the Obama administration. Michael Vickers, the former CIA man and Green Beret who now serves as the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict, will be hanging around, *Inside Defense *reports.(You'll remember Vickers as the multi-chess-game-playing savant from Charlie Wilson's War.) Chief Pentagon weapons-buyer John Young is also supposed to stay in place, at least for a bit, Inside Defense says. (You'll notice the Obama team named top Defense Department policy, money, and legal types yesterday - but didn't make a peep about procurement.)
