The first full online clips from the Christmas premiere should dispose of any doubt and allow would-be moviegoers to settle down into the grim reassurance that the flick's tag-line should've been, "My City Sucks."

Evidently burdened by a charisma-challenged lead and actresses that Miller allowed to dine on scenery, folks who were hyped up about The Spirit have that last ditch hope of deluded fans -- that, sometimes, though the teaser looked bad, and the trailer looked bad, and the clips look bad, the end result film can actually turn out OK.

Honestly, that never happens. So, I think we're stuck looking for camp enjoyment here.
