Update: A Harmonix representative has confirmed Ms. Bonaguro's claims in a post on the game's official forums. "Country DLC is definitely coming. The release date and artists listed in the CMT blog are correct, and we'll have more information about track selections and pricing shortly," his post says.
Come December 16, the Rock Band Music Store will see an infusion of country music, if you believe Country Music Television blogger Alison Bonaguro.
After a long diatribe against country music bashing Rock Band fans, Bonaguro revealed five artists to be added to the game including Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert and the Dixie Chicks.
We've contacted Rock Band creator Harmonix to see about prying either a confirmation or denial from the developers, though so far have received no response.
