PopCap Games announced this morning the release of the Peggle Nights Holiday 2008 level pack, the first in a series of free downloadable content updates for the puzzler.
Included with the downloadable add-on are five new levels and ten new Challenges all themed around PopCap's library of addictive casual titles, holiday festivities, or both. Peggle fans can download the level pack from PopCap's official website.
Even more intriguing is PopCap's promise that this level pack is merely the first salvo in a barrage of downloadable releases to come throughout 2009. Students of economics will notice that this is the opposite of the traditional drug dealer business model whereby a seller offers the initial product free of charge, then profits immensely once the buyer has become hooked.
