Bethesda has finally released Garden Of Eden Creation Kit, the free content editor for the PC version of Fallout 3.

The G.E.C.K. weighs in at a tiny 8.47 MB, but is quite the powerful tool for would-be post-apocalyptic architects. Players will be able to create entirely new npcs, locations, and quests, that can be shared online and downloaded into anyone's Fallout world.

To get the ball rolling, Bethesda has established an expansive G.E.C.K. Wiki, offering a number of tutorials, a wide variety of tools to use, and a community portal for players to discuss their works-in-progress.

I'm nowehere near finished with Fallout 3's main quest, but I've already started drawing up preliminary sketches for a post-apocalyptic bed-and-breakfast. Curse you, Bethesda.
