It’s Thursday, and that must mean Warner Bros. hasn’t released a new version of the Watchmen trailer since at least lunch.
In fact, the newest preview coming to us from Sky.com/Movies is more or less the then-exclusive Comic-Con preview footage from last summer. That same footage appeared for the first time as a free movie download on iTunes this week.
If the normal schedule holds, we should have another frustrating trailer sometime Sunday morning before brunch because the only people working harder than Watchmen trailer editors are the 20th Century Fox lawyers toiling to keep the film from ever seeing the light of a projector bulb.
