Update: Yahoo confirms Scott Moore's departure and announces that Microsoft's Jeff Dossett has joined Yahoo as senior vice president, U.S. Audience, to oversee consumer experiences in the U.S., including the company's leading media properties.

Yahoo media chief Scott Moore and general manager of Yahoo News Al Warms both plan on announcing their departures from the company according to inside sources, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Warms is rumored to be replaced by Yahoo vice president of programming and development Neeraj Khemlani, but Moore’s replacement is still unknown.

The changes aren’t a complete surprise, as Yahoo CEO Jerry Yang recently suggested that there would be some management restructuring in addition to a new round of layoffs.

Both Moore and Warms as well as a Yahoo spokesman declined to comment to WSJ.
