Taking a look at the recently aired video for the tune, directed by music photographer Brantley Gutierrez, everything is real. Real busy.

An eye-popping strobe of live performance and superimposed viz, The Secret Machines' latest video shows off the band's taste for technology and spectacle. It is definitely more active than Curtis' laid-back vocals, but not Phil Karnat's wrist-damaging riffage. Between the ax mastery and the band's nu-gaze songcraft, "Atomic Heels" is a refreshing throwback to the future.

The band is currently on tour with Oasis in Mexico and Monterrey, and co-headlining with Perry Farrell in Texas next month. It's a great opportunity to check out the band's elaborate set design.
