Disney and Pixar Animation Stuidos have unveiled their next animated adventure, Up, with a preview trailer that highlights the studios’ past achievements before introducing audiences to new faces.
Directed by Pete Docter and written/co-directed by Bob Peterson, Up features 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen, a man who quietly yearned for adventure before an 8-year-old Wildnerness Explorer named Russell inspired him to ride the winds of chance (with a suburban craftsmen-style house kept aloft by helium balloons).
The movie arrives in May 2009 in CG-animated 3D.
