Shin_megami_tenseiFollowing last week's tease, the new issue of Famitsu brings with it some details on Atlus' Devil Survivor for the Nintendo DS.

Set in modern-day Tokyo, you play as a 17-year-old who finds himself having to deal with a demon suddenly coming out of his portable game console. As expected, all hell breaks loose, especially after you learn that you only have a week before the end of days, courtesy of a devil invasion.

The simulation RPG title -- part of the overarching Megami Tensei franchise -- will feature an isometric overhead view, with your character able to team up with demons for combat.

Behind the wheel are director Shinjiro Takada, who worked on the tactical RPG series Growlanser, and Megami Tensei series illustrator Kazuma Kaneko.

Devil Survivor is expected to hit stores in Japan on January 15, priced at 5,230 yen ($52).
