Anxious for a bit of news about Sony's LocoRoco 2? Well, there's no word on when the North American version will show up, but here's a Flash demo to tide us over for now.
As Jean mentioned in his hands-on, things haven't changed very much – but once those little blobs get to crooning and the music kicks in, it all feels so right.
Use the left and right arrows to tilt the environment, guiding the colored blob towards a rotating belt of flowers. Each flower is tied to a particular color – hop onto the flower that matches the blob, and you'll be rewarded with musical notes, changing the critter's song. To change its color, pop into a knot in a tree near the starting point.
It's all very simple and fun, with an infectious soundtrack and a general feel-good vibe. You'll want to treasure this demo, however, as it'll cease to exist on November 21st. LocoRoco 2 hits the UK on November 26th, and Japan on Dec 4th.
