Is it just us or is Google slowly morphing into Yahoo?

YouTube launched a money channel today, Your Money, which is pitched as an opportunity for viewers to "learn more about borrowing, investing, and saving, along with Financial News and Analysis." The channel will carry videos from Bloomberg, Reuters, Wall Street Journal, among others.

Google sure has come a long way. Not too long ago, maybe four years, the company said in its mission statement that it doesn't do "horoscopes, financial advice or chat."

Now we're waiting for a horoscope channel.

UPDATE: Our previous link to a Bloomberg story up above was a big goof -- we meant to link to the actual channel. Sorry for the confusion. Seems YouTube has taken down Your Money and the blog post announcing the channel, but we're waiting for comment/confirmation.
