Anyone looking forward to picking up retail copies of the upcoming Nintendo DS music synthesizer KORG DS-10 is going to have to look hard.
1UP reported last week that many retailers were refusing to carry the music creation tool, especially at the full retail price of $40.
According to KORG DS-10's American publisher XSEED Games, the following chains have committed to carrying the title when it comes out on November 4.
- Hollywood/GameCrazy
- Fry's
- Micro Center
- EB Canada
- J&R
Best Buy is a possibility, but has not yet committed. An easy alternative would be to buy the title through Amazon.
On the other hand, Japan seems to be much more KORG DS-10 friendly, and you can even catch performances with the device at the "KORG DS-10 Expo 2008 in Tokyo" event at Club Axxcis in Shibuya this coming Sunday.
