The number of video streams for Yahoo was up 56 percent to around 265 million from August to September, putting them second (but by no means a close second) to YouTube, according to Nielsen Online.
Yahoo, whose unique viewers also shot up 35 percent, beat out the previous runner up Fox Interactive as well as MSN and Nickelodeon which each showing a decrease in streams compared to August.
YouTube is still way out of everyone’s league, however, surpassing the 5 billion mark in total number of video streams in September.
