Not content to simply dole out the occasional piece of downloadable content, Evolution Studios is promising that MotorStorm Pacific Rift DLC should be coming out on a weekly basis.

"We’re going to try and give you something new to play with every week," writes the game's director Nigel Kershaw on the official PlayStation blog. "A lot of it is free."

What won't be free are "some major packs" that should be released on the PlayStation Store sometime after Christmas.

MotorStorm Pacific Rift is out now for the PlayStation 3.
