TOKYO -- Capcom has one of the most impressive and highly trafficked booths at Tokyo Game Show. Even on Thursday, one of the "business days" before the show is opened to the public, lines to play the company's anticipated games were already stretching far.

The booth has tons of cool stuff to look at, like this statue of the main character from* Dead Rising*, hanging out in front of the line for the new Wii version.

More sights from Capcom's booth, below.

A few years ago, it would have been very silly to suggest to American gamers that in Japan, people line up to sit inside a fake legal office to play a videogame about being an attorney. Fortunately, the Phoenix Wright series has caught on here as well, and so now you all understand the appeal of Gyakuten Kenji, a new Nintendo DS game where you play as the prosecutor.

...* Tatsunoko vs. Capcom* for Wii, which already had a huge line of people outside waiting to play the latest in the Versus series of fighting games. The only reason I didn't just get in line is because we have an appointment with Capcom tomorrow where we will get to enjoy all of the company's games at our leisure. The reps probably won't have one of those freebie calendars for us. Ah well.
