From Software’s stealth action series Tenchu is about to make the jump to Xbox Live Arcade in Japan with Tenchu: Shadow Assault.
The new downloadable title hits the service this Wednesday, and unlike other games in the series, Shadow Assault looks and feels more like Bomberman crossed with ninjas.
The game supports up to 4-player online play over Xbox Live, with each character — including cutened up versions of series regulars Rikimaru and Ayame — running around a set isometric map, laying traps for opponents.
Siliconera reports that the game has also gotten an ESRB rating, which means that a North American release is assured.
