The company that popularized the sheep toss on Facebook, just scored a partnership with several broadcasting companies including Time Warner’s Warner Bros., CBS, and Comcast’s E! Entertainment channel, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Slide, a service from Pay Pal co-founder Max Levchin, creates applications for social networks including photo slide shows and the popular Super Poke (which made an appearance on VH1 this summer). It now plans to amp up another of its Facebook apps, FunSpace, by incorporating professional short form video.

Facebook users will be able to watch and share clips from TV shows, like “Beverly Hills 90210.” And the program recommends content based on how viral the video becomes.

Previously the service only worked with YouTube videos, so while this is a step up in terms if quality, it isn't comparable to Hulu or Netflix where you can stream a whole show.

Slide will be sharing ad revenue with its partners, as well as selling ads of its own alongside the content channels.
