The original plan for Cinematic Titanic, Joel Hodgson's movie-riffing venture, was to get four DVDs to the market in the show's first year. With last month's release, Legacy of Blood, the good ship returned to port for 2008, mission accomplished.

But, Wired.com got wind of a a holiday surprise coming from the Titanic crew. According to Trace Beaulieu, who rounds out Hodgson's on-screen riffing team along with J. Elvis Weinstein, Frank Conniff and Mary Jo Pehl, a special fifth DVD will arrive next month, just in time for your Mystery Science Theater 3000 fan's gift list.

The coquettish Beaulieu won't tip the precise holiday title until it screens live at Titanic's upcoming live show in St. Louis. There's no word yet when the surprise DVD will be available for purchase.
